The Noll’s Brothers Adam & Damian have played in Shannon’s band for the past three years & Damian wrote a song called “The Way That I Feel” for Shannon that sold 1 million copies.

Not only are they doing shows with Adam Harvey who just happened to win album of the year at this year’s Golden Guitar awards, but Lee Kernaghan, who was named Australian of the Year in January has asked the boys to also tag along with him for a few shows .
Their new single, A Country Heart (title track off the album) has just been taken to radio and is setting up to gain the same success as their debut, Shining Star. The title track, which was co-written with their little brother Shannon, tells the story of their parents and themselves, but has universal truths about the sacrifices made by the individual for the good of the family. “A Country Heart is our story,” Damian explains. “It’s about our family but it’s also about every family out here on the land………” Its’ a situation the Nolls Brothers know first hand. After more than a century, in 2003 the Nolls Brothers had to sell the family farm which was brought on by the ongoing drought.

Damian, younger than Adam by three years, had written a song for Shannon’s debut album and the encouragement he received from that led to he and Adam writing wherever and whenever they could. Produced by Craig Porteils, A Country Heart was recorded in Sydney’s Velvet Sound Studios. Nine of 12 tracks were written by the Noll brothers, each reflecting their love of driving and energetic country music as well as the stripped back rock recalling the likes of John Mellencamp, who was so popular with the boys when growing up.
