A Latin American band formed by accomplished musicians, who have been performing successfully at various venues for the last 18 years. The band members are of different ethnic origin, and the instruments played are a blend of acoustic and electronic. Thus, the repertoire performed carries an authentic sound and rhythm.
The band has shown the ability to entertain a mixed audience from different ages and nationalities. As a result of the encouraging response the band has had, the enthusiasm and willingness of its members continue to grow as artist and entertainers. Good fun and plenty of dancing is assured.
They have performed extensively throughout Australia including many major attractions such as Moomba, International Music Festival and the Comedy Festival. The flexibility and style of our latin songs have catered for various venues from the Sheraton Towers, Hyatt on Collins, Hilton Hotel, Crown Casino to private Weddings and house parties. With Mumbo Jumbo’s extensive repertoire, stamina and energy are required to keep up with the energetic rhythms that will keep everyone dancing – all night long.
In 2007 they introduced their new look and funkier sound with its new front female singer, with larger group.
