This show entwines the fun and fringing of the flappers from the unique and liberated Roaring ’20s and the glamorous Fred Astaire image that brought a touch of hope and a great deal of style and class to the depression era of the 1930s. We incorporate music from the Baz Luhrmann film, The Great Gatsby and also other renditions of the great 1920s style music. This show can be performed in one 15 minute set or as two acts over the call time with or without vocalist.
Country Dancers – Melbourne
COUNTRY DANCERS – MELBOURNE (CODE – 129FB)
The show opens with “These boot were made for walkin'”, then into “5, 6, 7, 8…my boot scooten baby”, followed by “cotton eye Joe”. The dancers will get people up and dancing during the second song. the show runs approx 6-10 minutes with interaction.
Japanese Dancers – Qld
JAPANESE DANCERS – QLD (CODE – 240JD)
A group of people who perform a traditional Japanese dance. The purpose of the group is to introduce Japanese culture and also to become a bridge between Australia and Japan through cultural exchange. We perform not only a traditional Japanese dance, but also other types of Japanese dances ranging from classic dance, folk dance and modern dance Yosakai and Yosakoi Soran to let people have fun on Japanese dancing.
