Hailing from Geelong and with a unique “rocking blues” style, John and his band have been together for over five years now and have built up a fantastic reputation for providing high quality entertainment. At only 25 years of age John is an amazing lead guitarist and vocalist and has received great accolade for his performances of some of the blues classics such as ‘All Along the Watchtower’, John Mayer’s ‘Gravity’ and Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s ‘Blue on Black’, his influences are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana and Jimmy Hendrix. He also has a unique talent with writing and performing his own original compositions and in 2010 he recorded his own 12-track original self titled CD which has received great reviews from many in the ‘blues’ industry. With his father Brett on rhythm guitar/backing vocals, Mick Field on bass guitar and Johnny Tesoriero on drums/backing vocals the band has a wealth of experience and an ability to temper the music to suit the mood and venue. The girls have received accolades over three tours of Europe. They have played the prestigious Montreux Jazz and Poretta Soul Music festivals twice. They’ve also captivated audiences at the Luzerne Blues Festival and Parma Summer Festival. They are constantly in high demand to appear at festivals and corporate events thoughout Australia.
The Group have redefined the possible throughout their twenty year existence. They are the only school based band in the world that operates in professional settings.

He tells his story with grace and ebullience, covering social and environmental issues, love, war and the despair of his fellow Mozambicans while celebrating life.
